Traditional taxidermy mounts include preserving the skin of an animal and recreating a body (typically out of foam, wood, etc.) that the skin will be adhered to.

This will create a realistic recreation of the animal that will last for decades. Traditional taxidermy mounts can also look like simply preserving and tanning hides that would be used for display, art, etc.
